Me, Myself & I

Hi there! I’m Dani Kos, Photographer

I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. I’m a photographer, adventurer, and nature lover, but really, I’m just someone who’s endlessly curious about the world around me. My journey into photography started with a simple desire to capture the moments that take my breath away—and to share that sense of wonder with others.

Nature has always been my biggest inspiration. Whether it’s the quiet beauty of a sunrise over a misty valley, or the raw energy of someone climbing a mountain, I’m drawn to the stories that unfold in those moments. I want my images to make you feel like you’re right there with me, standing on the edge of a cliff or walking through the woods, experiencing the magic firsthand.

Photography, for me, isn’t just about creating beautiful images—it’s about connection. Connection to the places I explore, the people I meet, and the emotions that come with every adventure. When I’m not out shooting, I’m learning and reading or just enjoying life with a cup of tea, reflecting on how lucky I am to do what I love.

So welcome! I hope my work speaks to you and maybe even inspires you to go on a little adventure of your own.

Let’s explore together!

Which of my photographs is my favorite?
The one I’m going to take tomorrow.
Imogen Cunningham
It’s one thing to make a picture of what a person looks like, it’s another thing to make a portrait of who they are.
Paul Caponigro
Photography is not about cameras, gadgets and gizmos. Photography is about photographers. A camera didn’t make a great picture any more than a typewriter wrote a great novel.
Peter Adams
Photography for me is not looking, it’s feeling. If you can’t feel what you’re looking at, then you’re never going to get others to feel anything when they look at your pictures.
Don McCullin
The best images are the ones that retain their strength and impact over the years, regardless of the number of times they are viewed.
